Atlas Honda Limited, a leading motorcycle manufacturer in Pakistan posted gross revenue of PKR 64.5 Bn during the year ended March 2017 and witnessed a growth of 17.3%.
AHL has been operating in Pakistan for last 5 and half decade. The journey was started in 60’s by Mr. Yousuf H. Shirazi by establishing a plant joint venture with Honda Corporation. Since then the company didn’t look back and has been growing with an immense pace.
Atlas Honda Limited is undoubted leader in 02 wheeler industry for several decades and maintained it mainly due to its outstanding quality & strong dealer network. Despite strong competition in 70cc motorcycle range the AHL has shown a growth of 16% compare to the preceding year. However, the 100cc segment witnessed 12% growth in the current financial year. The engine oil and the spare parts segment has contributed PKR 6.0 Bn due to its improved distribution network.
AHL has been a debt free company for last 06 years. It is worth-mentioning here that Atlas Honda contributed PKR 14.3 Bn on account of various taxes in the year 2017. The Board of Directors AHL has proposed dividend of PKR 18.5 Per Share amounting to PKR 1.8 Bn. The proposed dividend is the highest in AHL’s history.
