Honda Super Cub, one of the successful motorcycles introduced by Honda Corporation in 1958. It was the brain child of Sochiro Honda and Takeo Fujisawa. Both had witnessed the success mopeds and light weight motorcycles in Germany and got an idea to introduced this successful Cub series.

The super cub manufacturing achieved its 60 Million production in 2007 and finally the 100 million landmark achieved in 2017. Honda has equipped this successful two wheeler is available in a wide range of displacements starting form 49 – 124cc. The super cub variants comprises of C100, C50, C70, C90, C100EX & C70.

The objective of introducing Super Cub is to make this 02 wheelers affordable for the common man both in developing and developed nations. Furthermore, the focus of Sochiro Honda is to make the technology of this motorcycle is simple, so it can easily be handle without advance tools and spares. Hence, Honda Motors initiated and introduce super cub with plastic fairing in and it is the first ever motorcycle to use plastic fairings. It was also appreciated by Clement Salvadori, a known motorcycle historian. 

Honda Super Cub is the Icon of 20th Century and it is still popular in the world. Therefore Honda Corporation is still manufacturing this 02 wheeler. Honda Super Cub is powered with 04 stroke air cooled, single cylinder, OHV (Overhead Valve) engine with 49cc displacement. It has 03 speed  gear box with manual shifting without clutch option. The engine of this 02 wheeler can even run on inexpensive low octane fuel. Honda Super Cub has a kick start option however in some models the company introduced self-start options. 

As far as Pakistan is concerned, Honda Super Cub known as Honda 50 in Pakistan. It is still one of the successful motorcycles of Pakistan. Though Atlas Honda ltd is not selling this motorcycle in Pakistan but still the demand is there.
