BMW Upgraded R NineT Models to Meet Euro V Standards

BMW upgraded its R Nine T line models to meet Euro V standards for 2021 models. The R NineT models comprise of R NineT, R NineT Pure, R NineT Scramblerand R NineT Urban G/S. However, the management has decided to remove R Nine T Racer from this series.

In order to meet Euro V emission standard, the R Nine T air and oil cooled 1170cc boxer receives a new cylinder head with cover, new turbulence system which helps air fuel ration more effectively and efficiently. According to the current update, the engine output is 109 hp at 7250 rpm comparing to previous 110hp at 7250. The peak torque of the bike remains the same at 86 lb-ft at 6000 rpm. However, company claims a noticeable improvement 4000 and 6000 rpm.

BMW has installed a new rear suspension with travel dependent damping with new hand wheel for adjusting spring preload. The lean sensitive ABS Pro, new rain and road ride mode become standard for all R NineT line models. In addition to this LED Lighting, USB Charging Socket and Instrument Cluster is also part of this series. Other “Option 719” accessories also available.

The R Nine T standard is available in Blackstorm metallic with brushed aluminum with 719 03 options Night Black Matt/Alumium Matt and Aluminum Mineral White metallic/Aurum.

BMW R Nine T Pure is available in Teal Blue metallic matt or Mineral Grey Metallic as well as the Option 719 Blackstorm metallic/Racing Red, Option 719 Cosmic Blue metallic/Light white or Option 719 Aluminum. These bikes also have riding modes pro upgrade, which adds a sportier “Dyna” mode plus dynamic traction control and engine drag torque.

Both R NineT Urban and G/S celebrate 40th anniversary edition with GS models black and yellow color scheme. The standard Urban G/S are available in White with tape, Alpine and the Option 719 Blackstorm metallic/Racing Red.

BMW’s R NineT Scrambler has two options: Kalamata metallic matt with tape and Granite Grey metallic matt. The Option 719 colors include or the Cosmic Blue metallic/Lightwhite or Blackstorm metallic/Racing Red.
