Kawasaki, one of the renowned and famous Sports bike brand, finally decided to spin off its motorcycle business as part of their restructuring business.

According to Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the management has announced that the company will spin off its Motorcycle Manufacturing, Sales Division, Rolling Stock Division, which are engaged in manufacturing of conventional and bullet train. The decision would help the company to stable its financial position.

The Motorcycle segment is a tiny part of Kawasaki Heavy Industries. The major focus of the company is to manufacture bullet trains, heavy equipment, aerospace equipment, industrial robots, gas turbines, boilers and ships.

Kawasaki Industries have been witnessing operating losses during COVID- 19 pandemic in a current financial year. According to the President Kawasaki Heavy Industries, the motorcycle business will be continue through collaboration with other companies. However, parent company will spin off part of its business, the spin off business will have a separate management structure and new name. However, it will retain same assets, intellectual property and human resources. The company will continue to provide financial and technological support.
