The owners of the company are Stefan Quandt with 29% of the shares and Susanne Klatten with 21% of the shares with the general public holding the rest 50%. The company’s headquarters are in Munich, Germany. Furthermore, the total output of the company is 2,512,635 vehicles per year as in 2016. Except for only the BMW cars, the Bayerische Motoren Werke group also includes companies such as the Rolls Royce Motorcars, Drive now and Alphabet and Mini. The total number of employees in the company are around 125,000 which is huge. The company has won several awards as the best car.
